Now 16, and shown here in a recent picture, Goldie is behind all Stillmeadow dogs. She was heart clear at the age of 13, and still needs no ongoing medications. She is a bright, strong willed and funny dog—the only one who taught herself to open cupboard doors by hooking her paw in and walking backwards! She is the mother of 7 champions, two of whom are also ROMs*. One of her puppies finished his title at the National Specialty show. | ||||||||

Queenie (Ch. Stillmeadow Wild Card, ROM*) is part of Goldie’s all champion litter, and at 12 1/2 is still a healthy dog who enjoys mile long walks, although not at a gallop anymore. She is the mother of 5 champions. | |||||||||

Rose (Ch. Stillmeadow Rose Red, ROM*).Rose, the dam of 5 champions and a 6th who is major pointed, was also the Best of Opposite Sex in the Puppy Sweeps at the breed club’s first National Specialty. A sweeter dog never lived. My heart was broken when she was stolen in 2003. | |||||||||

Chloe, (Ch. Stillmeadow Sweetbriar Rose) is the daughter of Rose Red and my first ruby champion. Chloe is a major cuddler and loves a mile long run. She has changed many minds about how beautiful rubies can be. In fact, people who come to buy puppies often ask if they can take her home. | |||||||||

Rosalind (Ch. Stillmeadow Rosalind), also a daughter of Rose Red, earned her championship in fall of 2006. She is a smart quirky girl. She cracks my neighbors up by hopping up to sit on the fence to watch the world. But she is happy at home,and never jumps out. | |||||||||

Annie was bred by Martha Guimond, and is a super mom. She carries stuffed toys around the house with her, and is so into being a mom that she tries to steal puppies from the other girls. A devoted companion, she wears her heart on her sleeve (or forepaw). |
ROM, which stands for Register of Merit is an award given by the breed clubs to both sexes of dogs
who produce especially high numbers of champions. Goldie is also the mother of two Stillmeadow ROMs.
